One of the things that you don’t hear mentioned commonly in the breast enlargement industry are breast augmentation risks.
The first thing to note about this is that really what we are talking about are the risk of the surgical procedures to enhance your breasts, such as putting in implants or using breast injections. We are not talking about natural methods of breast enlargement, because these are by their very nature non-invasive and improve your body in general.
Some breast augmentation risks are:
1/ Not being satisfied with the final result
This is a really big deal and is much more common than you might think. You will have paid out a lot of money to get your breasts enlarged, but may find that you are not satisfied with the look of your breasts after the procedure. The fact is that the surgeon only has so much control over what everything ends up looking like, and factors such as your chest size, your existing breast makeup and the size of the implant you chose can all affect the final outcome.
2/ Change in the sensitivity of the nipple
Remember, you are having an operation here, and so anytime there is a knife and scalpel involved there is a chance of changing the current conditions. One of the breast augmentation risks is that you will experience a change in the sensitivity of the nipple on the breast so that it either becomes hyper-sensitive, or loses sensation. The reality is that the effect on sensation that you might experience cannot be predicted by the surgeon before the procedure, and so even if you have the best plastic surgeon in the world, this could still happen.
3/ Problems with the implant
There can also be problems with the implant itself such as breast implant rippling, breast implant rupturing and breast implant deflation.
There are also various healing problems and general medical conditions such as hematoma, seroma, necrosis and infections that can be direct breast augmentation risks of having the operation.
The bottom line is that this is not something to be entered into lightly, and that before you embark on any surgical procedures you should both fully evaluate the risks, and also be sure to try out less invasive methods to enlarge your breasts.
